KSC Round 3

KSC round 3 race meeting held on the 18th May 2025 was a good all-around turn out with the crowds rolling in to watch the race and keeping the main straight fence line full majority of the time.

The race meeting saw alot of hard work go into the venue by the Rok Promotor Kevin Dufty and his Pole Position team in order to have a reverse run track at the national sports stadium track.. Drivers took time to adjust and navigate to the reverse order track, with the track being open four days prior to the event. Qualifying saw all drivers trying their best to negotiate all the new corners and find the fastest lines throughout the day.

A total of 27 entries on the day were recorded. The 4 different classes of the day were as follows

1.Kid Mini class (6-9yrs)
2. Mini Rok class (10 -13yrs )
3.125 Rotax class 14 yrs upwards.
4. ProKarts ages 18 and above.

4 heats in each class gave the crowds a lot to watch throughout the day. Final results ended up as follows

KID Rok Class 60cc restricted.
1st place Sheunesu Shambare
2nd place Jake Edwards.
3rd place Ragnar Mudzimba. This is the little drivers within the club and will step up when the time comes to the next class.

Mini Rok class 60cc non restricted

This class has grown this year with new blood entering the class. It is good to see the clubs growth and classes’ growing. The best driver of this class stands a chance to represent Zimbabwe in the world finals to be later in the year and held in Italy, so all cards on the table to win this class. Results as follows

1st place Devin Van De Linde
2nd Place Rayyan Savania
3rd place Jayden Kerwin
4th place Elroy Shamu showing he still has good intentions of climbing up the ladder after breaking his ankle in Moto X and competing after a long recovery session.
5th place went to New Comer Oliver Broadway with an impressive drive throughout the day.
Daniel Sadiqi enjoyed his day view, ending up in 6th place showing he has the potential to be up with the front runners.
7th place Wade Glieg suffered from technical problems throughout the day but got better in the day.
Engelbert Mudzimba finished off in 8th place, trying to figure out the new layout and race lines on the track.

The speed freek class Rotax class 125 Senior and Junior Max

1st place Zaydaan Savania took the win In the Rotax 125cc class for the day.
2nd place went to Eli Pilossoff , giving Zaydaan some good challenges throughout the day.
3rd place in an unfirmular position was Seth Rukato. Where there’s a gap, Seth will make a move and is very competitive. 1st place is his goal for the 2025 season.
4th place went to Yasseen Savania in his CRG kart. Brake failure early in the day affected his over haul position for the day.
5th place Zayyaan Savania, the drift prince, battling it out with his family on the track showed good intentions to get past the other drivers.
6th place and hard earned is the New Bee in the class Sam Townsend, getting faster and faster through the day.
7th place saw the Start Rocket Eshaan Savania processing through the day and making it that much harder for his family members to get past him.
8th place went to Tawana Shambare, with technical issues holding him back from being with the front row.

The Prokarts class saw alot of changes in the top Rankings, it really made the day that much more enjoyable. This class, all karts are set up the same and is down to the drivers on the day to claim the top spot.
